In my first year of high school, I took the prerequisite of photojournalism in order to learn the basics of Journalism. In that class, I worked very hard to understand the journalistic skills of writing, designing, video, print, and photography.

One of the main focuses of this class was studying the stories that can be told through still images. But what made me more curious  and fascinated was the power of telling stories through moving images. This is when I decided that I wanted to explore the area of Broadcast Journalism and decided to join my first journalism staff, the Bull Dog News Network (BNN).
