In my first year on staff, I was a staff member of our Bull Dog News Network. In the second year, I became a Producer and co-produced the weekly News Show.  This year, I am a writer for The Triangle (newspaper) and a member of our promotional media staff. As a producer I would organize and decide what stories are covered in each show, communicate daily with staff members, assist the staff members in the editing process, and provide constructive criticism in order to help the staff grow in their skill. We created rubrics to help staff members keep track of deadlines and to provide a guide for what we would like to see in their segments. We conducted daily check-ins to assist and help the staff to complete their work.
